200+ days designing for web3.0— plenty.network Brand

The most simplified decentralised trading experience on @Tezos

Peoples adoption should be the most important thing for growth in web3.0 I was associated with plenty team close to a year ago and I was the only designer there. I was very new to web3.0 so there was so much to learn and catchup. I was quite anxious on how and where to start? 100s of KT call and reading numerous articles later I got a hang of web3.0 world. Now what??

How to leverage design for building a web3.0 product? One thing quickly came to my mind was “Design Thinking” why not?

Going through Plentydefi’s community on twitter/discord and manoeuvre through the best of defi protocols across Tezos & Ethereum chains was the very first thing to start which helped in building very strong user analysis and needs. The empathy towards users gave me an important cue on how to approach the new plenty.network that is lacking in the current systems i.e transparency and education.

The current journey in web3.0 is good for users who already know about blockchain technology, we need to design for the world- Humans!

Human expects trust.
Humans wants the system to communicate.
Humans needs convenience.
Humans wants them to be educated.

Introduction of Design thinking helped me in bridging this gaps and provide humans the experience they want to journeying through the defi interface.

Rebranding story

The new product focuses on a very unique approach towards incentivising to people which completely changes the perspective of current protocols.
Too technical?! Basically the new product needs an identity and experience that would focus on easy adoption from users.

The new identity reflects upon the vision to deliver the best user experience to our users, and educate the maximum to everyone about the jargons and misconceptions with web3.0. We aim to bridge the gap between Web2.0 and 3.0 users.

The identity signifies the completeness in the new system along with its community of people. The three conentric semicircles represents the 3 well-formed economic principles that are being used.

plenty.network brand is a remodelled version of our old system plentydefi hence the purple color shade that we don’t want to leave behind.

From a mere casual chat about a new system and rebranding and leveraging design actions for a dynamic NFT creation I'm happy to share the product here https://plenty.network/ here. Watch this space for a detailed design thinking process and best practices that we followed for building this super cool defi interface.
